Windows Mobile 6.5 and the HTC Touch 2
The HTC Touch 2 was made with one simple idea in mind; placing everything at your fingertips. Connectivity is made simple and easy thanks to the HTC Sense user interface and the features of Windows Mobile. Connect with your contacts, go online, create and send emails easily; all of this becomes easily possible with this impressive mobile phone. Thanks to the new and improved Windows Mobile 6.5 there are even more features and capabilities made available such as having a wider range of downloadable applications to choose from through the new apps store and better, improved versions of old WinMo apps such as the Internet Explorer web browser.
Moving from 6.1 to 6.5
The biggest addition to Window Mobile 6.5 is the inclusion of the application store, this is called the Marketplace, and through here you can purchase and download many applications that would further expand the functionality of the Touch 2. Get new software as you need it, when you need it; this is the convenience offered by Windows Marketplace. Aside from this, 6.5 is faster and more stable than its predecessors. It is also able to run more applications without any compatibility problems. Most importantly, WinMo 6.5’s unique user interface has been made to make everything a whole lot easier to access.
Getting the HTC Touch 2
This mobile phone is readily available on retail, but if you are not subscribing to a carrier, then this might be a good time to read up on some HTC Touch2 deals. Keep an eye for packages that offer excellent 3G HSDPA rates or those with free internet access as that would help you make full use of your mobile phone. The Facebook integration of the Touch 2 and other web applications are certain to make any mobile network plan worthwhile.
