Carrier O2 Takes on the LG BL20 Chocolate

LG Chocolate BL20UK telecommunications company O2 will be carrying the BL20 Chocolate. The announcement came some time ago and fans of the Chocolate series will be happy to know that the device will be offered on several plans.

Chocolate Gets a Reboot

There is no doubt that the general consensus about the LG Chocolate Touch is that many were disappointed at the touch screen incarnation of the LG Chocolate. When the first LG Chocolate came out, many people were impressed at the simplistic, yet incredibly stylish mobile phone. There were high hopes for its touch screen incarnation, but in the end, the Touch became the bag egg of the series.

LG now goes back to the Chocolate, not with another redesign, but a return to the original features that made the series so popular. The LG BL20 is a an amazingly well designed slide phone that not only brings back the true look and form of the Chocolate series, but also re-establishes the Chocolate at LG’s sexiest mobile phones.

Chocolate Specs

The BL20 new Chocolate phone is not just a way to redeem the flaws of the old Chocolate Touch, but also a new device for LG to show that they mean serious business in establishing their products; and aesthetics are not their only concern. The impressive looks of the device does completely overshadows the hardware and features of the phone, but that does not mean that the device is unimpressive.

The BL20 sports a 2.4 inch screen with a 240 x 320 resolution. It also has powerful 5 mega pixel camera that you can use to take high resolution images. As a 3G device, the BL20 connects to GPRS, EDGE and HSDPA, a perfect complement to some of the web widgets on the device. The LG Chocolate also supports Bluetooth, has an FM radio and can read micro SD cards up to 16GB.
