Motorola DEXT Android Phones Released

Motorola DEXTA lot of speculation had been going on about Motorola launching an Android phone. Well all the speculation has finally proven to be true. Motorola is indeed launching Motorola DEXT, which is going to be the first of a series of Motorola Android phones. Motorola DEXT is available in the UK from October 7 and is offered by Orange for as low as £34.26 per month.

Motorola DEXT is no ordinary phone, and with the Android operating system platform, it offers you something that most of the regular computers do not. Your main feed will combine the activity of all your online social networking accounts at Facebook, Twitter and MySpace, along with your e-mail, so that you can stay updated on your social life and your important personal and professional messages without logging to each source separately.

Motorola DEXT features a sliding QWERTY keyboard, which serves as a good reminder that you are actually carrying a device which is as good as a computer; in fact many would find it being much more useful than that, as apart from a storage capacity of 32 GB, Motorola DEXT is also equipped with a 5.0 mega pixels auto-focus camera with picture editing and a 3.5mm headphone jack, and most importantly it easily fits your pocket, being as light as 163 grams.

Another of the attractive features of Motorola DEXT is its impressive 3.1 inch HVGA screen with a 320 x 480 pixels resolution. Motorola DEXT is equipped with support for 3G, Wi-Fi, Edge and GSM networking, and adheres to all the networking requirements of a modern mobile phone user. But it is the Android platform more than anything else, which is keeping a lot of Motorola handset fans interested in Motorola DEXT.

Brace yourself for the technology that takes telecommunications to a new age literally. Be sure to make the most of this Motorola DEXT deals from Orange and keep your eye out for anything better that comes along.

Android and slider touchscreen combine to bring the Motorola DEXT

Motorola DEXTMotorola never disappoints when they release phones and another great phone from the labs of Motorola is the slider touchscreen, the Motorola DEXT. The phone comes with Android, which is the new thing in town and which has been getting rave reviews from the pundits. Add to this, the UI made by Motorola, the MOTOBLUR UI, and you sure do have something special in your hands. The MOTOBLUR UI is capable of handling a number of widgets on its home screen. You can assign some features to them such as emails, contacts, messages, feeds and photos as well as access to social networks such as Twitter, Facebook and MySpace. There is also an app which enables you to get all the private messages that you get to your social network accounts into one single inbox, thereby saving you the trouble of having to check each of the accounts. Your social status can also be updated on all your networks with a single touch.

Looking at the other features, the Google Android 1.5 OS comes armed with a large number of awesome apps. The touchscreen of the phone is about 3.1 inches long and has a resolution of 320×480 pixels. Watching videos on the screen is a real treat, as is browsing on the phone. The phone has a good 5 megapixel camera which has geo tagging, auto – focus and picture editing.

The phone looks quite stylish and is not very thick at 15.6mm, especially when you consider the fact that it is a slider. However, it is quite thick at 163 grams and it may not be easy to carry around in your hand. The phone’s music player is capable of supporting AAC, AAC+, MP3 and MIDI. The phone doesn’t have much internal memory, but it can be expanded upto 32 GB via the microSD memory card slot.

Motorola DEXT Reviews have been rave, so get ready for the release of the phone in October on Orange UK when there will be many Motorola DEXT contracts on offer. Stay tuned!

Motorola Rokr ZN50 is a smart slider phone

motorola-rokr-zn50-3Motorola has always brought intriguing gadgets in the markets to win the hearts of mobile phone users.  Although, Motorola, released this phone in Korea, there is no information on when this phone will enter the UK markets.

Motorola ROKR ZN50 is a hot phone with an enticing slider mechanism. This is interestingly the first-of its kind touch screen music slider phone to be launched by Motorola.

Motorola has put a lot of features in this phone to entertain and connect its users. The music capabilities of this phone are simply superb. What you can expect is the SRS WOW HD technology, with concentrated music controls and 3.5 mm audio jack so that you get in touch with music any time of day. The 950 mAh battery can play music continuously without any breaks non-stop for 30 hours. For enthusiastic music lovers, this phone is a total blessing. Also, the memory of this phone is huge, expandable to 16 GB via a micro SD slot, allowing users to store a sizeable number of their favourite tracks. The weight of the phone is a bit high, almost 143 g.

Motorola ROKR ZN50 is a smashing device with its 3 panel design, which allows user to take pleasure in flicking three homescreens and their different shortcuts and icons. There are so many icons and widgets available in these screens so that users can while their time easily. There is also a triband GSM and 7.2Mbps HSDPA with 2100MHz WCDMA to allow full internet connectivity. Bluetooth 2.0 allows transfer of data from the phone to other Bluetooth compatible devices without connection through wires. The phone also has the amazing T-DMB2 TV tuner technology, allowing users to catch their favorite shows like the Simpsons anytime that they want.

Motorola ROKR ZN50. Your gran

Imagine, if you will, what your reaction might be if your gran came round on a Sunday afternoon for some tea and a natter, and she turned up in a convertible BMW wearing what, after you’d checked, turned out to be a trendy Diesel Jacket, some Adidas trainers and, triple-checking here, an asymmetrical fringe of the type made popular in Hoxton not too long ago.

You’d be a little shocked, right? Because, after all these years, you expect certain things. Normally not very impressive things, to be fair, even though it’s hardly her fault. And this is just the case with poor little Motorola, as while they’re still releasing some decent phones (as this Motorola phones list shows), they’ve pretty much struggled to produce anything even vaguely interesting / impressive since it’s been revealed that their finances are about as stable as Woolworths were a few months back. So when details of the Motorola ROKR ZN50 turned up, we were, well, pretty shocked. Because while it might not be a world beater, this is a pretty decent phone by way of specs, and a more than decent phone in the looks department.

With a TFT resistive touchscreen, TV tuner, great music player and an interesting looking user interface (very much in the mode of Google’s Android), we think the Motorola ZN50 might prove to be a hit when it’s released in Korea in the near future. Whether that proves to be a big enough hit for it to make the transition over to these shores is still to be proven, but needless to say we’ll be letting you know as soon as we hear anything. That’s if we can get our gran to shut up about the Vice Magazine shoot she was on last week. Check out a full Motorola ZN50 review here, or have a little look at the amusingly poor video below.

Samsung Pixon 12 coming to a network near you

Samsung has announced that they will be releasing an upgraded version of their original Samsung Pixon and they have come up with the original name of the Samsung Pixon 12. So what is different between the original Pixon and the newer Pixon 12? Well, the number of megapixels that you get for your money is an obvious one. It seems that Samsung are going head to head with Sony Ericsson’s newly named Sony Ericsson Satio, originally named the Sony Ericsson Idou, in an attempt to keep pace with market demand. On a personal note I think I preferred the name Idou, but that is another post in itself. If we are to go on looks, for me the Satio wins hands down for me, it is an altogether slicker looking handset, assuming that the pictures we have seen are what the handset will actually look like when it is released later this year. If I am honest I would have thought that Samsung would have upgraded the looks of the Samsung Pixon 12 somewhat, as for me it does look a little outdated, but for those who are going on performance alone, I’m sure it will not disappoint. You can also be pretty sure that the Pixon 12 will be released before the Satio to ensure that all those people desperate for higher pixel levels opt for Samsung over Sony Ericsson. You can also be sure that the other manufacturers will be quick to follow suit with handsets with equal or greater numbers of megapixels for you to choose from. Personally I feel we have reached the peak in the megapixel debate. Other aspects are now far more important for me. I now want WiFi, HSDPA and even streaming TV. The introduction of the iplayer on certain handsets is a great feature to have on your phone in my opinion. So let’s see something more than just megapixels on our handsets…please?

The hot bargain phones of 2009.

There is certainly a feeling that there will be some very exciting phones entering the market in 2009, despite the global economic situation. In hard times, people like to turn to their little luxuries, especially ones that you can get for free. Phones like the Nokia N97 and the Sony Xperia X1 will always promise something of an enticing opportunity for those people looking for a mobile phone with all the bells and whistles on it. Of course you will need to be on a high end mobile phone contract to get this kind of handset for free. But what if you wanted to go for a more reasonably priced mobile phone? A handset that will make and receive calls, send text messages and perhaps even throws in a music player or sat nav into the equation, but will not cost the earth. Below are three handsets that we consider to represent excellent value for money. Ok they don’t have every app under the sun, but they will make calls and keep you happy whilst on the move.
1) The LG Cookie – an excellent phone that comes with a touch screen interface for a fraction of the cost of an iphone.
2) The Nokia 6600 slide a basic Nokia phone, that offers a range of excellent features for the price. Available on pay as you go from as little as £140.
3) The Samsung D900, available with up to £170 automatic cashback. That’s right folks, no sending your bills in anymore.
So if you are thinking about changing your mobile phone, why not consider one of these three excellent mobile phones?

A Closer Look at the Motorola Krave ZN4

The brand new Motorola Krave ZN4 is an interesting mobile phone from Motorola which combines a flip mechanism with a touch screen user interface and in my opinion is a little odd. The phone looks stylish and it does look like a Motorola (whether that’s a bad thing or not is personal opinion) but I feel like they missed the point a bit here and seem to have made a touch screen phone just because they can rather than offering a touch screen phone with great features as well. The Motorola Krave ZN4 reviews I’ve read seem to all say the same thing; that this phone simply isn’t good enough feature wise.
I have seen a lot of Motorola Krave ZN4 deals and they are good value for money in terms of the design of this phone but when it comes to the features (which are rather lacking) I simply have to say that you could get more for your money elsewhere. I’ve also seen that the Motorola Krave ZN4 contract phone is available for free on contract so I guess if you like this phone you could go for that but I wouldn’t recommend buying it. Overall, the features of the phone are simply too dull and there isn’t anything about this phone that is unique and inspiring. The flip part of the phone can be used on the touch screen controls as well as directly on the display but other than that it’s pretty boring really.
The phone does have a TV tuner which I guess is a bonus but the resolution isn’t that great and it’s compromised by the huge Motorola logo if you close the flip on the phone. All in all, the Motorola Krave simply isn’t good enough in my book and I have to say that if you watch the Motorola Krave ZN4 video review you’ll see exactly what I mean. However, mobile phone dealsare getting good as we get nearer to Christmas so maybe it’ll be worth buying after all.

A Quick Glance at the Motorola Aura

The brand new Aurafrom Motorola is a great new phone which offers a superior and unique design when compared with any other phone on the market today. The phone is worth a lot and is currently priced at around £1200 so is a luxury device and it should be noted that this phone’s features aren’t what’s being sold. The design was helped by Swiss Watch designers and is supposed to be a luxury phone and that it is. The phone has a lot of unique features and is definitely the most beautifully made phone I’ve ever seen. The phone itself has a swivel mechanism which has ball bearings that make it smooth and easy to slide.
I saw a Motorola Aura review which suggested that this phone is definitely for the super stylish audience and will sell very well with rich and sophisticated mobile phone users. The Motorola Aura vodafone phone is a good option for a lot of people and probably has the best mobile deals available on it. I think the best part of this phone is the unique circular LCD screen which makes the swivel action look seamless and flawless. I really like this phone and I have to say that if I had £1200 lying around I’d probably buy this phone in an instant. The features aren’t all that great but the design is amazing and well worth the money.
I’ve seen a lot of Motorola Aura videos as well and I think if you’re planning on buying or looking for Motorola Aura contracts then the videos will let you see the phone in action and are well worth watching. All in all, the Motorola Aura is a great phone and I think, well worth the money. This phone will last a lifetime thanks to its high quality and superior design on the exterior.
